Da’Keisha Bryant (Our CEO) was the owner of the previous My Big is Beautiful non profit and boutique. She offered emotional support to women and young girls in her community that needed encouragement or guidance! Whether it was for fashion advice, wedding dress options or offering strength to make a major decision she was there. Her company offered personal shopping experiences for everything from back to school clothes for a plus size 2nd grader to a blossoming author for her first book signing…, even paying half for a bride to have a custom gown for her wedding when finding one on the rack was impossible. She also opened a boutique that sold fashion forward clothing options in a price range all could afford. She has been an encouragement and pioneer to her plus size community for years, by embracing her God given talents publicly all while living this sometimes lonely rode as a plus size women. Her passion and drive to uplift and encourage her community is one that she DOES NOT take lightly. She believes that everyone has a purpose in life, and hers is more clear everyday! This community has been overlooked, counted out and thrown away for so long, but it’s time to heal and restore the hearts of this community by offering a safe place to continue to blossom.
